Atestado do DPF: www.dpf.gov.br

Eu disse bom dia e ele disse bom dia.

A espera vale a pena, gente!

Rio e k1

Boa noite. To passando super rapido porque preciso aproveitar a oportunidade da internet "emprestada", rs...
Vale a pena estar aqui.
Lala!

What english sounds like to non-english speakers

I think this video shows it perfectly, and I imagine this is how people hear english who do not speak it. Catchy tune also!

Dreaming of you

I began having dreams of Larissa a long time ago, and I still remember the first one I had of her. It was before I even went to Braizil. Some dreams I have are recurring dreams. Usually they involve me trying to get to her, but I can never get to her! Last night I had one of these dreams. I was trying to get online to talk with her, but im never able to get online and talk with her...and so much time goes by, and with the more time that passes the more worried I get...its like this feeling that I need to be there, but I cant for some reason. It seemed like all these things kept happening, and there was no way I could talk to her. It kind of makes me realize how it would feel to lose Larissa, because I felt so scared that I couldnt talk with her and like something had happened. It was a sad feeling. But I think this dream means that Larissa really is so special to me, and that I just want to be there for her!

10 Things I love about YOU

Now I will give you the top 10 reasons I love Larissa Hirosse :)

1. I feel like we can do anything together: Wether its just to take a walk, go to the mall, see heavy metal concert...we , explore treacherous caves, go camping, we like to do everything together because you like to try different things and are very open, this makes you a very fun person to be around...and it lets me know we will have many adventures ahead of us!

2. Your a good listener: Even when I dont have anything exciting to say you are always listening and giving me attention. I feel like I can tell you anything and you wont judge me, but instead try to understand me and love me for who I am.

3. Your innocence: I find this part of you very charming, and makes you very special. Because you have such a sweet heart, and I see that deep inside you, you just want to be happy and make others happy too, you have a very child-like innocense in a way, but at the same time your very mature and know how to take on responsibilty. The innocence that shines in you is when we are swimming and your afraid to go in too deep, or when we are watching a movie and you hold me tight because you are scared...you are not desensitized like most people...and I find this very charming :)

4. Your personality: Your a lot like me, except I think you are very likable, and so adorable, and I think our personalities are perfect because we understand the way we are. I feel like since I understand you I can relate to how you are with many things...ecspecially when you talk about things that go on with your life, I usually have very similar thoughts and I feel like we have many things in common.

5. Your caring nature: Your ALWAYS taking care of me, thats all there is to say.

6. Your curiosity about the world also: I now found a partner I can travel the world with, what is more exciting than this? Along the way I just want us to have fun and not have a care in the world!

7. Your smile: Its so much bigger and brighter than anyone I know...it shines all the way to the moon and reflects back to me

8. Your loyalty: We have been able to retain such a good relationship because you are strong and your loyalty is strong, thats why I know I can trust you as my wife, and I only want to do the same for you.

9. The things you hate: I LOVE the things you hate, thats why its so cute!! I love how you hate owels and monkeys! and you really dont like being called a monkey, and I dont think I ever wil lcall u this again or I will be a dead man. But the good thing is you dont hate so many things,I think you get frustrated by things sometimes, but you have a very positive outlook overall...and I know you just like to be happy.

10. Talking with you: All the long late night talks weve had, acting goofy and crazy on webcam just gives me butterflies thinking of all the memories. Weve had some good times even if some of them are on webcam. Any moment we have together we always have a nice time, even if its just a boring day and we want to relax....

10 things I love about you

Hey you! yeah you!!! You who has a military hair style, who lives in an airforce base, who likes to eat and give me kisses on the lips just for coming home! I want you to pay attention now because I'll tell you 10 things I love about you. I could say more than 10 (even more), but I selected the most important 10 reasons why I love you. You ready??? Ok! so here we go:

#1: You have that special smile that makes me realize everything will be alright in the end.
#2: Your sense of humor is the best! You are so funny and so creative! Sometimes I just want to squeeze you! :P
#3: The way you take care of me: your lovely words when I'm down, your e-mails and everything else you do to make me feel better.
#4: Your curiosity about the world; You are such a laid back person and I'm very excited to see this world with you.
#5: Your responsability: my hard working and mature baby! You know when to be serious and organize important things.
#6: You are a humble person. No matter where you are you always know how to fit in.
#7: We are very alike. We have the same dreams, like the same kind of music and the same kind of books.
#8: The way you hold me. I feel so safe and loved when you hold me. It's like a peaceful and wonderful moment.
#9: Your kisses; Everytime you kiss me I wish those moments last forever.
#10: Your voice. When I listened to your voice for the first time I felt something special and now this is the sound I want to listen to the rest of my like.

Thanks Adam to make me a better person. I love you so much and I'm ready to be part of your life until the end of forever.

The difficulties of starting a new life

Taking the step of marrying another person from another country is never an easy thing, and you do have to sacrifice some things. You are leaving a life behind and taking on a new beginning, and to just leave your old life isn't so simple. I think Larissa would have more to say on this subject than me, because she will be sacrificing a lot to be with me. Then in 4 years I will sacrifice my life here to be with her. We are both making sacrifices and its all so we can just have each other :)I think sometimes people cant handle the pressure, because what your doing isn't always supported by other people. The hardest part for Larissa will be leaving her family, she has never been apart from them and she will miss them a lot! But I know this, and that why it is my job to make her happy while she is here :) Making our life together will be a great experience, and I already know we WILL be happy because we love each other. The only way something could go wrong is if we let it go wrong, but I am always on her side to support her 100% and I hope she knows that deep down in her heart she can rely on me...I know this isn't easy for her and I just want to give her the love and support she really needs.

For those who havent seen...

I would like to share a video I made for Lala after the first time we met in Brazil. I made it so we can always remember the special time we had. This is a video I think we will look back on the rest of our lives ;)

Ingredients:

* Jiaozi dough:
* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* up to 1 1/4 cups cold water
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* Filling:
* 1 cup ground pork or beef
* 1 TB soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 TB Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
* 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper, or to taste
* 3 TB sesame oil
* 1/2 green onion, finely minced
* 1 1/2 cups finely shredded Napa cabbage
* 4 tablespoons shredded bamboo shoots
* 2 slices fresh ginger, finely minced
* 1 clove garlic, peeled and finely minced
Preparation:
Stir the salt into the flour. Slowly stir in the cold water, adding as much as is necessary to form a smooth dough. Don't add more water than is ncessary. Knead the dough into a smooth ball. Cover the dough and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

While the dough is resting, prepare the filling ingredients. Add the soy sauce, salt, rice wine and white pepper to the meat, stirring in only one direction. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring in the same direction, and mix well.

To make the dumpling dough: knead the dough until it forms a smooth ball. Divide the dough into 60 pieces. Roll each piece out into a circle about 3-inches in diameter.

Place a small portion (about 1 level tablespoon) of the filling into the middle of each wrapper. Wet the edges of the dumpling with water. Fold the dough over the filling into a half moon shape and pinch the edges to seal. Continue with the remainder of the dumplings.

To cook, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add half the dumplings, giving them a gentle stir so they don't stick together. Bring the water to a boil, and add 1/2 cup of cold water. Cover and repeat. When the dumplings come to a boil for a third time, they are ready. Drain and remove. If desired, they can be pan-fried at this point.

BOm APETITE! :p

A Brazillian Christmas

The things that stick out most for my special Brazillian Christmas, was the very random moments. On Christmas eve we had a very big dinner at midnight, lots of delicous food that Larissa's mom made for the family. We celebrated with some champayne also, we were making jokes and I think Larissas mom was a little bit drunk =D it was so funny, she was being silly and she was really hilarious. After a very good a filling dinner we just decided to take a walk around the neighborhood...in our pajamas :O Larissa wore her long black coat along with some shorts and my sandals. She looked comfortable! We all pretty much just wore what was comfortable, Cintia was wearing red because it was christmas. We all walked around with Larissa's dog, Obama, and we went around in a circle and saw some neighbors, and I think a dog tried to attack us :/ We walked around comfortable in our pajamas and we didnt care cause it was Christmas and we were just having fun. One of the best Christmas' I have had in a long time and I will never forget this very special christmas!

Memories of Brazil 2: Adam and his Portuguese

Everytime I think of Adam speaking Portuguese I just feel like jumping on him and givin' him lots and lots of kisses!!!! He is so smart and his portuguese is so cute! But not only this! he is speaking Portuguese so well now! I'm very proud of him because everything he wants he gets and he works hard for it. I remember one day when we were in his room and he was playing with my cat. My mom asked him to repeat some funny words and, man! that's the 'cutest' thing ever! I'll never forget this day: Adam wearing some comfortable clothes and using the computer while my mom and I were trying to make him feel embarrassed!!! lol How I love my nene! I miss him too. If I could be there with him, I'd be the happiest person in the world. I'll never forget the moments we spent together in Brazil and I'm looking forward to share more moments better than those with him!!!!

Video:

Mom: "Gatinha!...cagona..."
Adam: "Só meu??? verdade?"
Mãe: "não"
(Adam*looking at her like 'uh oh! here she comes!'*)
mãe: "Gatinha cagona!"
Adam: "Gatinha cagoada!"
mãe: "Peidorrera e fedida!"
Adam: "Peidora, fedida"
(Mom and Lala laughinh cuz that was soooo cute!)
Mãe: "Não tem jeito de gravar?...peidorrera.."
Lala: "To gravando!"
Adam: "Pare!" (making funny faces!)
Mãe: "Peidorrera e fedida!"
Adam:"que????"
Mãe: "Peidorrera e fedida!"
Adam: "Paidorrera é fediiiiiiiiiiiiiiiida!" (obs: notem o bico pra falar "fedida" lol)
Lala: haaahahuahaua
Adam: "Amooooooooooooorghhhhhhhhhhhh" (I love you so much!)
Lala: hauahuahushudfhuhauashauhuahuahauhauahuahau
Adam: "Parê!"
Lala: "Nãooooooo"

That was the funniest part of the video; I like it sooooooooo much!!!! Adam makes my language looks more beautiful and so funny!!!!!
Amoooooooooorghhhh eu te amo!!!!

Memories of Brazil: Lala's uncomfortable shoes

One night in Batatais, Lala and I wanted to see a movie, so we got dressed up and walked to the theatre. We were in a bit of a hurry because we were trying to make it to the movie theatre in time. Lala decided to wear the most UNCOMFORTABLE shoes that I think have ever been made, in the WORLD. We started walking and she started having trouble, as I was trying to move fast she couldnt because her feet started hurting. Then when we finally get there, we missed the movie, but not because we were walking too slow, but because it started at an earlier time! :P We felt a bit stupid. Then for some reason we were crazy enough to walk even more around town, and I tried offering my shoes but she didn't want me to walk barefoot. So we decide to try piggy back ride! and so we did =D She rode on piggy back in some parts of town until I got too tired. Some people looked at us funny, but it was funny, and we were having lots of fun! These are the moments I miss the most...they were our own personal moments and they will be ours forever! :)

To begin a new life

After the 23rd there will be so much to think about; we will begin planning our new lives. It means I will need to go house and apartment hunting...find a home that we love. We will plan our wedding, something I really want to make special for Lala so that she leaves home in the proper way. Everything is about to change and every day I think about how it will be like to live in America with Lala. It will be OUR adventure, and no matter what happens im just glad it will be with her. Im really excited just to show her everything...theres a lot to do in Seattle and I think she will love all the exciting events. I also look forward to introduce my family members to her, I really hope she likes everyone and I think she will ;) In addition, I want to make sure she can have effective communication with her family members in Brasil as well, providing her with a webcam and vontage(so she can call anytime for free). No matter what I want her to feel at home here. When we have our home I want everything to be perfect...I want her sleeping in a big comfortable bed everynight, I want her to be able to go out to the mall and shop whenever she wants. I want her to meet new people, and most of all, I REALLY want her to take German classes :) She loves to learn German and I really want to provide that for her...if she is happy with this then I am happy! If I had a million dollars

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you a house
(I would buy you a house)
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you furniture for your house
(Maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a K-Car
(A nice Reliant automobile)
If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love

If I had a million dollars
I'd build a tree fort in our yard
If I had million dollars
You could help, it wouldn't be that hard
If I had million dollars
Maybe we could put like a little tiny fridge in there somewhere
You know, we could just go up there and hang out
Like open the fridge and stuff
There would already be laid out foods for us
Like little pre-wrapped sausages and things

They have pre-wrapped sausages but they don't have pre-wrapped bacon
Well, can you blame 'em
Uh, yeah

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a fur coat
(But not a real fur coat that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you an exotic pet
(Yep, like a llama or an emu)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you John Merrick's remains
(Ooh, all them crazy elephant bones)
And If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love

If I had a million dollars
We wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I had a million dollars
Now, we'd take a limousine 'cause it costs more
If I had a million dollars
We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner
But we would eat Kraft Dinner
Of course we would, we’d just eat more
And buy really expensive ketchups with it
That’s right, all the fanciest ke... dijon ketchups!
Mmmmmm, Mmmm-Hmmm

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a green dress
(But not a real green dress, that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you some art
(A Picasso or a Garfunkel)
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a monkey
(Haven't you always wanted a monkey)

If I had a million dollars
I’d buy your love

If I had a million dollars, If I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars, If I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars
I'd be rich

Anticipation

Only Feb 1st, this month is going too slow and Feb 23 seems so far...and its the only day I want it to be right now. Lala hasnt had internet for some time now...Its hard because we are getting closer to the interview, and I want to be able to talk with her. I miss her so much...going to work is harder when I cant tell her goodbye, or I love her.

Lala....if your out there, please come back soon! You have someone here who misses you!

Bossa Nova, Samba

I decided to learn some bossa nova tonight on the guitar, bossa nova is such a beautiful musical expression, combined with the sing-song language of portugues, I find it to be one of the most romantic and sexy styles there is. I have only learned some chords to "Garota de Ipanema"(obvious choice for my first bossa nova song to learn)...the chords sound beautiful! Bossa nova is a bit hard to play at first, you have to know how to pluck the chords with a smooth rythm, and I havent been able to do it perfectly yet...but with practice anything is possible. The bossa nova makes me feel like im in a relaxing quiet place where everything feels fine...its what I want to listen to after coming home from work on a tough day, its the type of music id have playing in the background if I owned a restraunt. Bossa Nova is by far one of my favorite musical styles...thank god for Brasil.
